The data we collect
Your demonstration request
When you fill in the demonstration request form, we receive what you enter: your full name, the name and town of your store, the number of stores, your phone number and/or email address, your message if any, and the language of the site you were browsing.
Technical browsing data
As with any website, displaying the pages involves the technical processing of your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. This data is used only to deliver the site to you and to protect it against abuse.
What we do not do
We use no audience measurement, no advertising and no social media trackers. Fonts and icons are served from our own site: your browsing is not passed on to any third-party service of that kind.
Why we use it
- To answer your request and organise the demonstration in your store. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To follow up on your request (calling you back, sending an offer). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in developing our relations with retailers (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time.
- To run and secure the website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering an available and safe website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not sell your data and do not use it to sign you up to a newsletter.
Who has access to it
Your data is intended for the Saekor team in charge of demonstrations and sales follow-up. We use the following providers, who process it on our behalf and on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts, delivers and secures the website.
- Resend delivers the requests sent from the form to our inbox by email.
- FasterFixes is a review tool reserved for the people we invite to check the website (our team and our web developer). It does not activate for other visitors and sends no data about them.
Transfers outside the European Union
Cloudflare and Resend are based in the United States. Transfers of data to these providers are covered by the safeguards set out in the GDPR: the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified companies and, failing that, the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.
How long we keep it
- Demonstration requests: as long as needed to handle and follow up your request, then no more than three years after our last exchange. If a business relationship follows, the data is kept for the length of that relationship and in line with our legal obligations, accounting ones in particular.
- Technical browsing data: a few days, in the host’s technical logs.
- Cookie and local storage: see the section below.
Your rights
You have the right at any time to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to object to it (in particular to sales follow-up) and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email us at contact@saekor.com. We reply within one month and may ask you to prove your identity if we have reasonable doubts.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels (contact@apd-gba.be, www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
Security
The website is served over HTTPS only, and the requests sent from the form are only accessible to the people who need them to reply to you.
Changes
We may update this policy, for instance when the website changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
